The sewing pattern includes 3 styles in 1, from the easiest to make with an elasticated waist perfect for beginners to the more advanced one with a button fly and a waistband. And with the step-by-step photo-instructions and the fitting guide sewing your perfect pair of Macaron trousers will be so easy!

The Macaron trouser sewing pattern includes 3 styles in 1:

  • version 1: minimal palazzo pants with an elasticated waist and a romantic gathering, perfect also for beginners.
  • version 2: a retro-inspired style with soft pleats, an exposed button fly and a high-waist.
  • version 3: version 2 but with two handy pockets.

This multi-size sewing pattern includes all sizes from XS to 3XL. Seam allowances are already included to make it easier to trace and cut.

Files are organised in two zipped folders, one for ENGLISH and one for ITALIAN.

  • 1.15 to 2.10 m x 1.50 m (1 1/4 yd to 2 3/8 yd x 60″) fabric depending on size and version.
  • matching thread
  • interfacing (25 to 30 cm – 10″ to 12″)
  • 6 18 mm buttons (for version 2/3)
  • 2.5 cm (1″) wide elastic: from 80 cm to 105 cm (1 to 1 1/4 yd)
  • sewing machine and basic tool

For version 1 use a light-to-medium weight fabric with a good drape such as cotton, chambray, rayon, linen, silk satin or crêpe. For versions 2/3 use a more structured medium-weight fabric, such as denim, corduroy, wool, stretch cotton or linen.

This pattern includes sizes: XS-3XL.
